In the middle of the Patagonian steppe, Mora is in revolt against school and asserts himself against his parents, Western alternatives whose dream of freedom is turning into a nightmare. But one day, she refuses to go there to help her only friend, Nazareno, an old Mapuche gaucho who has lost his horse in the meanders of the steppe.
